Philly Mania 2016 and MORE!!

I don't know about all of you, but those temps on Saturday have me super excited for spring. Anyone else?


SoulBody had an awesome weekend at Philadelphia Mania which was jam packed with fitness, workshops, demos, community and leadership. It was an opportunity for people to come browse the best selection of fitness equipment, apparel, accessories and media in the industry. Not only that, but this was great exposure for our brand in hopes of expanding into the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York area clubs with our programs. 




There were a TON of sponsors and we were so fortunate to be an Associate Sponsor this year.





The workshops were fantastic. One was a form and flow followed by a master class and the other was modifications and challenges with the master class.




We had a blast meeting new people and making new friends!!

Beets Don't Kale My Vibe

Who doesn't love fresh juice? 

Here's a quick tip of the week. 

Kale is packed with fiber
Fennel boosts your metabolism
Cucumbers fight inflammation
Beets detox the body
Carrots keep our eyes healthy
Apples fight cancer and boost the immune system!

Bam!

The amazing power of fresh juice!!!



Here is another one of our favorite juice recipes for that's great for your skin!

Vibrant Skin Juice
Yield: 1
2 small sweet apples
1/2 large cucumber (keep skin on)
1/2 small lime (may have to remove skin depending on juicer)
2 handfuls of kale (or spinach, chards, collard greens....)
2 handfuls parsley

Blend!

Barre with Bae Recap

I hope everyone survived Valentine's Day and got to indulge a little bit. We use Valentine's Day as the one day where we focus on LOVE and being GRATEFUL, but shouldn't we feel that way every day?!?! Self love is so important and my challenge to you is to keep that in the back of your mind as you begin and end each day. 

I spent the morning, along with Amanda Adsit, at Beachfit for a special Barre with Bae class that was a HUGE hit. 

Special Thank You to SoulBody for creating such an amazing following, Beachfit for providing the perfect space on a freezing cold Sunday morning, Gundalow Juice for providing the juice for cocktails, KIND for the chocolate bars, and Fabletics for the swag bags. 

We had a packed room full of so much energy and love. It was the perfect way to start the day!

SB Barre LOVE

Because it’s February I figured we’d stick with the LOVE theme. I want to know what you LOVE most about Barre and BodyBarre, the instructors, and even the blog. I’d love to feature someone different on the blog each week similar to the instructor spotlight, but instead a member spotlight. 

Since we are still trying to stick to our resolutions, I’d like to know what successes you’ve made so far this year. Maybe you tried barre for the first time, maybe barre has helped you overcome an injury, maybe you started food prepping, maybe you’ve tried a new recipe, maybe you’ve joined a fitness group or maybe you just mastered a move in the choreography that you couldn’t get before. I want to know it all and there are no right or wrong answers here.  I know most of you are on social media so I’m sure you follow some people who inspire you. Whether they are a blogger, someone famous, a workout buddy or simply a friend, we all love daily motivation. I want to know WHAT and WHO inspires YOU!

Thanks Stacey for sharing your energy with my amazing Monday night crew. We LOVED having you!!

Now…what do YOU need to do? All I need is for you to write up a paragraph or two (or three) and email it to me to put on the blog. You can send me pictures or links and I’ll add those in too. You are all such an important part of helping us grow this program that I want you to have a time to shine on the blog. Remember…to you it may not be important, but you never know the impact that it could have on someone else. Let’s use this to help inspire each other and have our best year yet!

#IAmBeachfit Challenge

Hello February!

So I hope everyone has officially recovered from Jonas and is back to their normal routine. Can you believe that it's February?!?! We are so excited about what was accomplished in January and are even more excited about the things coming up over the next couple of weeks.








We are excited to announce that we will be a part of the Under Armour Performance Center Powered by FX Fitness at their newest location Building 37. SB Barre and SB Body Barre are launching this week. 





















SoulBody Tanks will be going on sale shortly...you can purchase one here for $30.
